Alliances

#1
Someone from a higher alliance attacked me. If I attack them back, they are probably gonna go begging to there alliance for support (The alliance has 61 members in it so I wouldn't stand a chance) Anyway to attack him without haveing an army of other players against me? :?:
If I had to choose who I would die fighting against, I would choose corrupt government.

If your fleet or your planets are at risk, somebody is going to get 'em eventually anyway. You have to pick your spots. Alliances provide a measure of protection, but most higher level players don't want to run around the Universe settling every infraction that a fellow member instigates.

Keep your resources safe and figure out the best time to launch a counter-attack. If you are a weak and a target, somebody is going to take you out anyway. Fearing reprisal will only stifle your progress.

Only attack him if you will win and gain from the battle. I have never let alliance relation stop me from farming players and destroying fleets. Most likely your attack will be ignored by majority of the alliance and even if they feel like attacking you most wont put in a great deal of effort to destroy your fleet if you are properly fleet saving.
You can't stop me I'm on a boat!

Fleet saving is putting your resources on a fleet mission so they are relatively safe from attack until you can be online to use them.

There are several ways to perform a fleet save. You can send your resources towards another player's planet and then recall it before it gets there. You can send your resources to one of your colonies. Or, you can send your resources on a recycler mission to a debris field- effectively doubling your mission time.

Lmao, do you have that post saved?

But heck, I don't even worry about Alliances and I'm just barely over 10k. Just wait until you'll profit (Either from DF or his res) and attack him, and then just fleet-save till you get back on. they won't attack you if they don't get anything out of it.
