My 1st successful Half-Blind Lanx

The story goes like this. I received a message from Madara that a MD mission of 157 Rips was heading towards his moon with over 2hrs to go.. after receiving the attack time I sent a fleet to ACS defend him.(I think a bug occurred) because my fleet arrived 16 seconds before Gog's Rips but the MD still went through. So I recalled my fleet and waited.. I realised (nearly to late) that I had a moon only a few systems from Gog's launch site.(moon. 200+ systems away) I scanned the moon to find he had left his recyclers down. Jumped fleet and RC and launched on the recyclers he was off line {hit one}

now had all his drive tech's, I did the maths and worked out I had enough time to send a welcoming party to his moon for those Rips that I had missed..? My luck was in and my math correct. I arrived 3 seconds after his Rips {hit two}

To sum up at no time in these hits was Phalanx-ed used (all missions were from moon to moon). What I had was the attack time on the MD mission calculating the exact return time of the MD mission to its launch site.

This was my 1st successful Half-Blind Lanx however I am unsure if this has already been done in ZE before..?

I wish to say thank you to Madara for the opportunity that presented. I also gave Madara a new moon to replace the one he lost.

Excellent hit Gozar! I hate to spoil a little of the fun, but it has been done (and posted) twice on smaller hits that I know of (One by me and the other by Torgard). Neither were of this magnitude however! This is definitely the first return phalanx over 1b in size, and enjoy those big juicy profits.

For Madara, doing the right move there, even if some bug cost him a moon, I suggest they send a message to the admins to have the matter checked into.

As for BD, think I have spent the last whole day talking to him it seems lol. After your hit on him, checked for a tilt and got a little one as well (thanks for setting this one up as well as it was a result of the half-blind phalanx):
