Circular messages

I think it would be nice to be able to have a file system in the circs.

So when you click on circs we could put in on a tab.... For example.

General Reports Probes Enemys

Obviously for each of us to make our own circ folders or whoever the leader is to file them accordingly.

It would be nice to have a system like that in place, maybe a limit on the tabs to stop it getting silly.

Nice idea

It would be simple if:

The alliance leader creates the headers under the manage alliance options.

Then when a member sends a circular they have to choose a catagory for it to be stored under, from the created headers.

When a member opens the circular messages the sent circular message can be found under its appropriate header.

Next to circular messages in the original file system will be the number of total circs.
Then once clicked the number of new messages beside each header will show.

I think a limit of 6 headers should be enough:
Announcements
General
CR's
Probe's
...

Zorg wrote:So basically, If I understood well from my 15 second peek, you want a drop down menu where you will affect where the message will appear in the receiving end

OR

you want EXTRA folders within the circular category ?
Extra folders in the circ with tabs which only those with rights can change. We have too many messages but some r nice to keep or more fr bigger alliances can keep tabs on important issues

So seth, are you saying it should be like an email inbox? Meaning that you would have a regular inbox for unspecified messages, and then on a sidebar there are the extra folders that the alliance leader specifies earlier. You would get a message in the inbox saying a new folder was created. Like the regular Message system, the side folders would have a number next to them, saying how many new messages there are in the folder. Also, on the very bottom of the folder list on the side will be a deleted folder, where any messages you deleted before will go, just so you can review them, and if you don't want the deleted messages, you just delete them from there. The whole system woulld be something like this:

INBOX | 5 |05:27:53 22/12/2010
Plans | 2 | A new folder has been created! Look in the Wars folder for your new information
Applications | 1 |
Wars |0 |
Deleted |10 |

Sorry, it's not perfect, I tried to line the verticle lines up, but it didn't work that well. Anyway, here's my model for the system, please leave your ideas about it.
