There are so many dead alliances in Standard now, some with a couple of active members, but all the rest are either going extinct or already are.

Universal Federation, Stargate Atlantis, Universal Federation, Stargate Command to name but a few.

There are now only two alliances, Vashta Nerada and Shining Winds, these two alliances are the only ones doing anything.

Perhaps a possible idea could be that one active member of the two active alliances "lends" them a member, help show them how to play. If there was three or four active alliances rather than the two we have now, it might spice things up a bit?
