I do not know if some of you have noticed it. There has been an interface change in Massacre. This change will be especially visible to anyone playing the game with a screen resolution larger than 1024x768
The point of this topic is for us to invite you to report any issues you might have noticed.
We want to implement this change to all other universes as well as current interface creates a far enough gap between the menu and the playing pages in large resolutions.
Re: Interface Change
#2The interface is not ideal....when I click scoreboard, for example, it displays at the bottom of my page and I have to scroll right down to see anything ...also, everything seems to be thrown over to the left part of the screen and that leaves 1/4 of the page with nothing but background display picture to the right. Empire view also only shows top line at bottom of the page meaning yet again I have to scroll all the way down to see anything ...
Re: Interface Change
#3As a temporary measure can you change the resolution of your screen? Not ideal I know but it may help alleviate some of the problems.
Re: Interface Change
#4I haven't noticed any really serious issues, but the thing that bothers me the most is that the entire screen now briefly flashes white and the menu bounces whenever I refresh the overview or change page (as opposed to just the playing pages flashing white, which has always been a point of minor annoyance). Before I at least had the menu on the far left as a constant whenever I changed page to help mitigate the annoying strobe-like effect of overview refresh or page change, but with the new interface I don't even have that.
Re: Interface Change
#5Begs the question, if it ain't broke why change it......plenty of things we have asked to be changed...some even accepted yet no change...

This is annoying.
It has been mentioned to me before in conversation. It's not as if I suffer from epilepsy or anything like that, but it is aggravating and heavy on the eyes.
Re: Interface Change
#7Just noticed alliance chat feed history needs fixing... When you click on the feed history the menu pops up in the history as well (which shouldn't happen) and you have to scroll all the way to the right to see the feed. You then have to scroll again every time you change page. This is happening in Chrome.
Re: Interface Change
#8Can you send screenshots of your problems to webmaster@zorgempire.net ?
Include the browser you use as well.
To take a screenshot, click Print Screen button.
Then open MS paint and click Paste. Save as JPG
Then open your favorite email composer and send the email. Add the image as an attachment.

Re: Interface Change
#9And the annoying white flash is now gone in Massacre. Great! In my book, that change alone is enough to make the interface an improvement.
However, the alliance chat feed history is now entirely blank. If you click "feed history" at the bottom of the chat you will only open a white box and won't see anything at all.

Re: Interface Change
#10We fixed this as well. Please, post here anything you notice. Including issues of the past that are annoying. The plan is to fix them all in Massacre then copy them to other universes.
