On a side note, did you know that a strawberry isn't considered a berry, but a banana and watermelon are? Jeebus, the people they let name things. They don't even look like straws! A strawberry's entire name is a lie.

Does that mean cucumbers and squash are berries too?

I dunno. But straws aren't. Which actually raises another question: what lazy person
invented the straw? I mean, holy crap, so much extra effort to tilt the cup and drink the liquid.

This guy, Marvin Stone patented the modern drinking straw in 1888.

I know that we both have access to the vast if not infinite knowledge of the Internet, but I like to think that you just know trivial little things like this, and that picture has been sitting on your desktop for months waiting to find a use.
