The part that really *****, other than raiding, is that, when you're trying to build up a new colony, you come on the next day, and your res is maxed out. Then, you have to wait forever for three more storage upgrades, and you pretty much waste a day doing nothing.
500k is a bit off our planning but this would be the largest to accept. 1 million is completely out of the question.
Still, to get the current capacity from 100k to 500k, suggests a major change in a universe.
The good thing is that the universe is still young, therefore this change will not play such a role.
I will create a voting on top of this page, so you can vote, then we will decide and implement till Wednesday. I hope that more than 20 people will participate...
I agree we should definitely raise the amount. Also because you only can have a max of 300 fields you'll probably have 50 of that or more as storages when we need more fields or bigger storages or both...
For the sake of defending our initial option, here are the strategies created from low storage that you do not want:
a)Necessity for more ships to carry the excess storages
b)Necessity to plan what to build on planets; perhaps building storages all day long won't help more than a) Direct effect to growth rate. (Decisive)
c)Favors more active players
d)Favors active raiders
e)Favors players with high agility as fast decisions regarding resources usage are needed. As a result experienced players are favored from this. The demand for right organization is higher.
f)Lower income from each attack is useful for defender on big empires.
g)Ultimately forces the usage of ships such Elite Cargo as mobile storages.
