A Death Star would still eliminate the need for cargo ships.
Either way, all defenders need is an X-wing to get rid of any Death Star that heads their way <_<
Re: Death Star
#32lol... good cargo.. but would it be worth a raid.. in time ????.... probably yES lol! haha

Re: Death Star
#33No it wouldnt due to its cost. An RIP has 1M cargo space, 40LC worth.Radiofloyd wrote:A Death Star would still eliminate the need for cargo ships.

40 x LC = 300k Met 300k Cry
1 x RIP = 5M Met 2.5M Cry 1.5M Deut
An RIP hold RF over any ship which is its main advantage and in large numbers they are almost unstoppable.
Re: Death Star
#34true but remmeber LC wouldnt be able to hold up against defences or fleets so then you'd need battleships and bombers

Re: Death Star
#35I think a RIP's best use is for defense and for major attacks.
Even if it has a massive capacity it's base speed is just too low. Only 100. Compare that to 7,500 of the LC.
You can't use it for blitz attack or flanking.
