While I welcome something "new", I'd love for Destroyers to be effective against RIPs as they were originally intended. Can't we just get Dessies beefed up?

Besides, it would prevent a lot of us from having to trash our existing fleets to build any new configuration.

I think if some people have to rebuild their fleets, and change things around then it might just be too bad for them. With RF plenty of people will have to change things anyway (ie. the all BS fleets that were becoming popular are just not gonna work any more)

Name Awak Carrier

Out of fear of planets moons being destroyed the Awak carrier was born for the soul pupose of taking out Death Stars before they could accomplish such a mission. It Carries a small armada of specially designed fighters in its belly that when launched seek out the weakest points of the death star and rips it apart. These special weapons use a special form of Graviton Technology..so special that it only can be achieved thru 2 levels of development. It is also moderate at adding in the destruction of other ships and defenses but for the fact of its natural enemy the Battlecruiser

something along these lines could work..but deuterium level to make and maintain must remain high to keep numbers in check and so exsisting fleets do not need to be altered..this could also be good for those that wish to remain trader/miners and deut will than be at a premium.

Edventually as empires began to grow stronger it was seen that a new ship was needed to take on the all powerful deathstar. So the _______ was made. _______ can take out deathstars, but sadly are not so good on their own.

Death Stars and using their own weaponry against them. One of the Death Stars strong points
was its uncanny ability to scan the weaknesses of each attacking vessel and gain strategic
fire over them. The Valkyrie attacks from the massive Death Stars blind spots, gaining a
tactical advantage over the Death Stars inherent Rapid Fire superiority. This vessel was
also designed with the most state of the art energy weapon resistance shields, however,
scientists failed to realise this made the Valkyrie vulnerable to the most basic of weaponry.
Only ballistic weapons have a superiority over technology of this ship, more specifically,
those ballistic weapon systems found on fighters most empires had thought redundant.


NOTES

Well, not sure how this would affect the game as a whole, but i decided something having
actual Rapid Fire over the Death Star was a bit too much. So i made something that doesn't
have Rapid Fire from the Death Star at all.

At the same time, this vessel brings back the previously thought useless Heavy Fighters and
promotes more use of the Impulse Engine technology.

What do you all think? :)
