well i agree on the risk there but as soon as the risk increase for you you want a change- a higher risk of fleet loss at md's also made you want to change that- if there is a risk it should be equal on both sides.
what you don't like risks any more? or you like it only when is not a risk for you???

and on the md subject- even i and i dare to say that at this point i am a fleeter in speed- i disagree
the i MD unlimited serves as a purpose to reduce the fs options. And even if this md limitation was implemented a few months ago i agree with it. Reasons:
If he is (i) or(ii) he can return.
fewer fs options
if you do that in X an alliance of just 5 players can take out 1 player that they don't like.
and in speed an alliance of 3 players could do that.
And i don't post this to save my *** if that is what you are thinking,no i post this to allow new players to have an even chance- that means an even chance with you and me or any other high rank player.
You have to understand that the game has evolved, and what used to mean even chance now means advantage towards you. Even if that sounds weird but its like david vs goliath both with a swiss army knife- there is no equal chance,it's like you would face a tiger empty hand because that means an even chance even if there is a sever power unbalance, as much as you would want to tell me there an even chane is we both know there is not. 8-)

as i said before a low player can not go head on against a top player and have the same chance as the top player to win - that is over time and if the low player is good-
as pk pointed out in another post- the rankings should not be determined because 1 player joined 5 months before the other. Yes the game was intended to be played like that but all game creators can agree that they never considered the option of 2 mil player vs 10k player and how much would it take the 10k player to evolve to the state to be able to take out the 2 mil player-
IMO THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN IF THE 2 MIL PLAYER IS EXPERIENCED, and after 5 month's you can't really call him a nob. If what i posted now its not logical then bloody hell i won't post anything in this thread anymore :wall:

the problem with above takes away one critical aspect of the game feature and it definitely will make it more complicated than you think. lemme explain....

(*) no raid (or massive raid counts). only 29 players to raid or 59 players to raid.

(#) effect... you will get more defense built per player range. say i am at 89th ranking and only players bellow 39th rank can attack me then i will have to only build enough defense to scare away fleets of that size. no one at top 30 will be able to hit me so i dont need to worry and i can just gather as much res i want.

900mil metal + 500 mil crystal + 300 mil deuterium behind a 30k LLs defense array .... i dont think it gives the right idea of the game.

i can find more problems with it but i think this will be enough. (sorry for exaggerating the res stash but that much res can be easily gathered in 1-2 months income.)
