Sorry slash you dont want a game that is fair to everyone you want a game that is fair for you and your team. When my friend got reset you were cool with it and was disappointed he was not banned. He was wrongfully reset but you did not want to hear about it and were quick to dismiss the importance. then Gumppy suffers the same fate and you are all up in arms about it and said the game was broken and that this is unfair. If I IPM'd someone else in V mode and they complained about it i doubt you would give a **** but i did it to your buddy and you made threads asking why he was losing points dumbfounded haha. that was the best. Then you call a in game tactic cheating and broken but i had it approved by the admins and i made sure it was not a bug. I dont appreciate being called a cheater or a chicken-**** cheater or any such thing. I play the game to win i have done much worse things to people that sending a few IPMs while they were blue. i am farming some of them right now

but say you run into a guy that attacks you while your afk, then after the attack goes to V mode, then keeps doing this over and over to prevent from being attacked in return.

Like most people on here, not all of us can afford to be OL 24/7 but i agree with Khan, no one should be able to Nuke you in V mode, but if its in the game, its in the game for a reason.

probably one of the reasons is one i just posted. im not sure. only real way to clarify the situation is an admin explain why its in the game as a feature.

How hypocritical. Jumping into vacation mode is considered cheating when its done to avoid an attack but attacking someone in vacation mode when they're in it for a legitimate reason is okay???? Bull****. Utter frigging bull****.

I do not want to engage in a flaming war with you, but I do want to clarify my position.

I think you misunderstood my post. Jumping in and out of Vacation mode was NOT cheating. It was not a bug, but an unforeseen tactic. A 48 hour active mode requirement was added because it was not intended to be used as a game strategy.

In the end, the ability to IPM someone in vacation mode may suffer a similar fate. However, it is not cheating.

Admins, do you have any idea how idiotic it is to say that? You have just pretty much lost every single player who likes to play as a turtle. Inluding me. Because it is allowed doesn't make it right. No one knew that you could be attacked in Vacation Mode until after it happened. Shoot the victim and call it right afterwards. Bull****.

It's a cowards way to attack someone. The Admins simply enabled it. It's a losers way to play. If you use it, you're a loser. A underhanded scumbag. Maybe not cheating. But it's low and shows no character. It's a spineless way to play.

i dont even have a gaming console. I am one of the most aggressive and competitive players i know. i play to win and i also play to make others lose. your idea of nobility and integrity is very naive. you said you were in the army. the army for example has no problems using all possible tactics to achive their goals. the Americans even break written laws on how to war and torture people. I am not above getting my hands dirty and i will do what i can to get an advantage. i will use politics i will use game mechanics and tricks if i have to. That is called a savvy gamer.

if in street fighter i can beat you by throwing hadoukens non stop well that is what i will do. its not cheating its not cheap its beatable and that stuff never works on me. the only people that complain about cheapness are the losers. Winners find ways to improve and adapt and win in the end. instead of flaming me and quitting your position as mod maybe you should think about what you can do to improve the situation and gain the upper hand.

i think everyone should calm down, and maybe open a thread to the admin forum ( if you guys have one ) and let them explain it to the public on why it was a feature ( or un-fixable glitch) whatever the case may be.

really the only way to clarify this is for the admin(s) to explain why this is able to be done while someone is in V mode.
