Hmm how about the galaxies are named after the alliance that controls it the most. AKA galaxy one Novus space if NGI controlled it. Just an example I'm sure they don't.

Sounds like a sneaky idea to get alliances to cluster together in a single area

And this thread is several months old - has anything been done with this idea? Has a list of names ever been presented for voting?

To be honest, I don't see the need for names for each galaxy.

This idea does not add anything to the game, per se. And this implementation takes away from other developments that need to be added.
