With the approval of ACS Defend for moon destroy missions, I think it logically follows that players should also be able to use ACS attacks for moon destroy as well. Since the defend feature gives smaller players some protection from all those big bad monsters out there, allowing an ACS Destroy mission would allow smaller players to try and get a leg up on bigger players. Just a thought....

#6I'll start by saying that this was a spur of the moment idea, so I haven't put a lot of thought into it just yet.
Secondly, both Josh and Zorg make great points. Why put in ACS defend for MD when the same players that everyone seems to fear most will just band together and go about their moon popping without hesitation.
Lastly, I would like to say how discouraging it is when an idea that I, at least, feel would be majorly advantageous to smaller players offensively, is basically immediately shut down because of how big others are in this game.
Let's face it...most of us will never reach that level. But I do not think that the strength of a small percentage of players should automatically hinder what could prove to help a larger percentage. But, I can only speak for myself. Again, good points against my proposal, but should discussion really end here?

#7logical yes. BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY....
I like what zorg has done with moons in this game. they are rare, very usefull, and always at risk. the "always at risk" part makes it kind of a gamble to develop them, which is not true of buildings on planets, which can't be destroyed. nobody likes the risk of losing a highly developed moon, but the gambling factor adds some depth to the game. and so... ACS attack on moons would only increase the risk of losing moons, more gamble involved, and maybe some interesting skirmishes. but thats just me, i havnt been super active in this game.

#8the acs attack with moon destro is some what different from acs defending a moon destro mission. moon pop i believe do not take the wsa into consideration. so when acs attacking a moon it do not work as same as u do for other attacks.
its a flat RIP count against moon size. the acs attack for moon destro will only enable an user to pop a singinficant size of moon otherwise there is no benefit out of it.
i believe there is just a fine grey line there that puts moon destro missions apart from other attack missions for which i dont see it happening.
