I did not say a dang thing about it harming something, nor did I see kick say anything like that. If you are going to do an argument then at least make it a reasonable one. MY opinion and vote on this is NO. I do not like the idea. And "just the top 10 players"? Don't they have enough glory being know as the bad arses they are?

i think the awards idea is the way to go...if you need a title look in the mirror and identify yourself.

What criteria would be used? What about "losing" a title? Is it just the top ten? or top ten in each category? Are we titling because of accomplishment or, as it seems, popularity? Or socially stereotyping? What if a person is in the top ten, but doesnt want a title, what if a top ten gives his account up to some noob?

No matter what you "title" yourself, its what others think of you that matters. Are you fearless, honest, dastardly, self-centered, egotistical, wise and i mean actually not the "wise" BS i have seen that everybody buys into.

Get on with your lives ppl and play the game. I will give you each a Title and I dont give a rats A## what your "title" says about you. Put on your broken Tierra and your TuTu and call yourself fluffy for all I care. Your fleets and resources still crunch the same.

we could just use the player awards titles...or set criteria to unlock certain titles...something like that...

you guys r doing exactly as pup says OFF TOPIC. we aren't talking about player awards and also player awards are just really for the best this is for everyone, all players on the forums. Also Gale i already said if it wa the top 10 players only it would be pretty stupid and then id agree with WW and kick tht it would just boost there egos, but if it was for everyone that would be different i think.

So the concept of the idea is a phrase or word describing a member of the forums that is displayed in their posts...

Not sure if I am missing something but why not just make up a title for yourself and write it in your sig?

No it doesn't just have to be for moderators i think but Cypher its like that yes but people vote on a title for you so you cant just give yourself a really good awesome one.

EXTREMELY BAD IDEA
