Listen, if anyone wants an in-game character to be recognized with (for example, I've ALWAYS been lightning), I've created somewhat of a list of the ones that aren't taken in the game by players (both sci-fi and medieval fantasy).
Ezio Auditore (Assassin's Creed 2).
All Halo Characters except Master Chief.
All Sonic Characters.
All Resident Evil characters except Wesker (i.e. Jill, Chris, Leon, Sheva).
All Final Fantasy characters except Sephiroth and Lightning (i.e. Squal, Cloud, Tifa, Yufi, Vincent).
All Soul Calibur characters (i.e. Nightmare, Siegfreid, Astaroth, Talim, Taki).
All Metal Gear Solid characters (i.e. Solid/Liquid snake, Raiden, all bosses).
All Final Fantasy Summons (AKA GF's, Eidolins, Aeons).
All Transformers .
All Marvel Characters in current movies (i.e. Iron Man, Batman)
All LOTR Characters.
Samus from Metroid.
All Zelda characters.
All Mass Effect 1-2 characters (Sheperd, Garrus, Tali, Thane, Grunt, etc).
