Ok, I was watching TV and a Bing commercial came on. The guy asked his friend if he should get salsa or guacamoli for watching the football game. Then, his friend starts talking about salsa dancing due to the search overload. Long story short, the whole grocery store ends up in a giant food fight. Sorry for the long post about that, but I was thinking, Bing claims that it doesn't have search overload, but I typed in salsa like they did on the commercial, and guess what I got. Salsa dancing! It doesn't even have an advanced search feature like google. So, what's a better search engine, Google or Bing, and why?
After we resolve this, we can debate something else.
Re: The Great Debate topic.
#2google because bing *****. The few times that I have used it it has ordered the results in a way that I don't like.

#3Google. Bing, quite frankly, *****. Every time I've used it, it has been unsatisfactory.

#4the phrase is "google it" not 'bing it'.
that i think says it all. u can stroll u can wonder u can traverse but to the basic all u do is walk. rest are just forms of the original.
i know its not a close metaphor but the point is technology is unforgiving. if u started 1 month ahead usually u will remain 1 month ahead if u keep the standard same.
just saying Google is ahead of bing by far, no matter how flashy ms makes its out look.
Also i am bias to open source.

#5Bing can suck my left testicle. It is a second rate knockoff of Google.

#6As I've stated before, I'm a whore for Google.

#7Clearly Google, Microsoft just want to own everything and so come up with a derogatory commercial aimed at other search engines. Besides, do they really think that everyone is going to start using Bing just because? Google is like a second nature to internet users now, way to late to try pulling people away from it.
When people ask me plz because it's shorter than please, i feel inclined to respond no because it's shorter than yes...
Re: The Great Debate topic.
#8Against popular opinions, I'm a bing person myself. Way better images...and it's never just the same image as a different size. Videos that I actually WANT pop up more often as google still lists the websites of the videos...and if I want a term or a question answered, I just wiki it. Google is the sad child of Wiki and Bing...and is outdated to me.
Bing.
Bing.

#10Google, been using it for way to long now, and the few times I've used Bing, I get the same results as Google anyway.
