The galaxy names sound pretty good.

i want to own a system rather have galaxy names. with most accumulated on a planet u get to own a system.

heres an idea.you get one vote for the galaxy each of your planets are in.say you have 4 planets in gal1 you get 4 votes for the name of gal1.

we can't name everyhome system.for obvious reasons

what reason is that? if i can own mine i am owner. and even if galaxy are named dont u think in the back its still 1-9 hard coded? so what if my system is called as such but for coorinate reference it still have [g:s:o]/galaxy,system,orbit tuple.

okay now I see what you mean,just so long as it is still refered to with coords and your name for it is somewhere in the galaxy display only.I still fail to see why giving it a name matters though.

hmmm it is as personal as having the ability to rename ur colonies. all tho i admit do not serve much utility but i think its more fitting to reflect the ownership just something u might wanna pursue in game.

galaxy name ans system name i dont think there is any difference in it. if one can have a name i say i can wish for the other to have name too.
