he was great a long time ago which is not neccesary to legend status but it helps and was great in a trying well known time [WW2] those 2 traits which gale does not have are what makes him a legend.

But gale is great so what Im trying to say is that great people can indeed be legends.

Does anyone else hear how silly that argument sounds? Don't get me wrong, Gale rocks, but the only way to know if she'll be a legend is if she leaves. And frankly, I don't really want to find out that much.

Someone hasn't heard of living legends. Like elvis he was a legend when he was alive and he is still a legend now that hes dead.

Defiant and Anubis are the biggest legends for me. But why has Khan had so few mentions? Does nooneelse remember his post after he misjudged Belligerents shell?

That Splinter would be proud line had me laughing for a little while. The Original Vengeance (None of this VVV or IB crap - no offence to you guys, some of you are really good buuut...) The Original Vengeance was the first alliance to properly take charge. When I joined they were #2 and AZG was #1, but that was through dint of numbers on our side. I flamed V to a crisp during the multitude of wars we had, but that was never through lack of respect for them (Well most of them ) but simply because I could not hurt them with my fleet. When V was around the only one who could hurt them was Mintaka, RAWK, NEM, and some others could probably have put some scratches in, but V dominated. How many of you still remember the original V as anything more than hearsay? Thats a legend by any mans terms. Same for Mintaka - how many people on the forum know his name, long after hes gone?

I hear ya Rogue, Khan was one of the nicest guys you could find, and he played a mean game of chess.

But yeah, the original ~V~ (by that I mean Squirrel, SBT, Lord of War and SirDuction) were all pretty awesome people once you got past the flame, yeah even SBT. Mintaka has to be the biggest legend hands down though. Him and Squirrel are by far the best players this game ever saw, no offense to todays fleeters, but those two were epic before being epic got easy.

The original alliances are no longer around and there are now better and stronger alliances.

I.B isnt crap as you like to describe. We are some of the hardest working players in the game. Togard and RJ are two of the best upcoming players at the moment without a doubt. The rest of us work hard as a team and we are an unbeatable alliance.. Anyone who thinks different, you know where we are.

V is an alliance that is like a Dodo, Exstinct.

I.B will be around for a long time and we will always grow and are all legends in our own right.
