Question: When you smash people do you always massively overkill? I always see such small losses comapred to theirs on your attacks. Whereas i send more or less only what i need to take the enemy out and suffer substantial losses in the process.

Same thing here. i think the main difference is the choice of fodder. I will have to stop using LF as fodder and start using cruisers

Ahh maybe, the 6k LF's i lost against Lily were, the majority, in the first round and made up about 90% of the losses i incurred.

LF are good for protecting your heavies sometimes you can take less losses without them. I tend to overkill when needed, costs more deut but I feel better when I see very little losses. Its very difficult to get fleet composition right without RF.
