How do I inspect a planet before colonizing it, I can't send my Espionage ships to free columns, or I don't know how ..

You can't. A random planet is generated every time a colony reaches an empty slot.

Slots 4-9 generally have more fields. Sometimes slot 14 generates massive planets.

Planets closer to the sun (slot 1) are generally hotter.

Hotter planet gives more energy from solar sats but gives less deuterium.
Colder planet gives more deuterium but less energy from solar sats.

Hello again, another newbie question:

I attacked an inactive player who has
4 Light fighters + 5 Rocket launchers

with my 2 large cargo ships + 2 light fighters + 7 Heavy fighters (overkill, I know)

I won of coarse & the defender lost 24500 units & Weapons: 0 % Shields: 0 % Armor: 0 %

After that I sent an espionage prob & it reported 3 Rocket launchers are still there, the fighters are gone.
the defender is still inactive, from where did the launchers come????

I hope this is not too embarrassing to be answered & thanks....

after each battle 70% of the defensive array regrows. fleet are crashed but defense regrows.

I raid this plant which has:

metal 394.343 crystal 44.086 & Deuterium 5.143

I sent 10 S. Cargo. 6 L. Cargo. 2L. Fighter & 4 H. Fighter

What I got after wining the fight is :
66833 units of Metal, 25523 units of Crystal and 3005 units of Deuterium.

My cargo ships should carry back 200,000 of cargo & his half is more than that.
What went wrong?????

1/3 of your cargo space will be used for metal, another 1/3 for crystal, and the rest deuterium.
Crystal can can take up the cargo space for metal if there is not enough metal filling up to 1/2 the cargo space.
Deuterium can take up the cargo space for metal and crystal if there is not enough metal or crystal filling up to 100% the cargo space.

Clearly put:
Only 1/3 of your cargo space is dedicated for metal.

Just ask if you need more examples.

No, you cleared it, strange though, the cargo should be filled when you raid if there is metal available!!!!
