[Damn Ive completely forgotten what I had written. Ill edit in the post here this evening, finish off the gunships and request permission to land in Valhale. The important aspects of the post are there, the rest is detail about the Koenfar and how I took out the gunships if people want to get on with this. Sorry its taking so damn long for me to post ><]
As my senses blended with Ael' Ataren, I guided her cannon into the area of one of the gunships she recognised as being similar to her props, and the gunship ignited into incandescence. The Tulim fed me coordinates and data through Ataren, and she asked me a thousand questions about the gods, which I answered as best I could. I found as always that the spirit of the ship knew more than myself, minute things that I had not noticed, and as she batted a missile away with the help of Tulim' Kaelith, she gently corrected my aim as her forward guns sliced through another gunship. With a slight tremble through the ship, Ataren birthed a dozen missiles which streaked through the sky on pillars of light. I congratulated Ataren on her progeny as they deftly avoided missile defence fire to rend the gunships apart. Tulim' Athkar' Maegshar teased Ataren to produce a note of victory through Atarens corridors to alert the warriors, who answered with a cheer. I commended Ael' Ataren on her performance formally, and gently disengaged myself from her mind. As I did so I felt a ripple of discontent as to the rudeness of the spirits of the gods, but I smiled to myself that she merely rankled at the status of the gods ship-spirits, as she did the spirits of the Aertarim and Eldorans. Ataren longed for the day when she would achieve a size as great as they so she might rule over Aels lesser than herself with greater authority. The swift victory over the enemy of the gods pleased and reassured me, and I felt myself release a musk of relief as I walked alone through Ataren's corridors back to the bay. The warriors saluted as I entered, and the crack of fist on plate thrilled me. I nodded to Tal' Ameth, who once more hailed the human leader. The warriors bowed and I bent my head. "The enemy is slain, Magistrar. They fought well, for what they were. It is our hope that our victory honours us in your eyes, so that we might be permitted an audience with the gods."
