As you can see im a noob how do i find new planets ive still got one

i dont wanna sound stupid but when i select a galaxy all the planets have been colonised i cant find an uncolonised planets.....In another game i play i just send a scout to a region or galaxy..

and are u saying the colony can also act as a scout?

Check out this image of the Galaxy Map:
You use the first set of arrows <- -> to move the Galaxy Number higher or lower and the second set to move the System Number higher or lower.

There are 9 Galaxies and 499 Systems in each Galaxy. That's a crap load of open planet slots out there.

The Galaxy map depicted has no planets in it. There's tons of those in ZE right now.

every open slot is a planet that has not been colonized so send your colony ship to those coordinates to colonize.

If u send your colony ships out there though its gunna take a loooooooooooong time to send resources there and for your ship to even get there,thats y I prefer to keep my planets closer together.

you might even have to sacrifice a cargo ship to get a colony ship that far. probably not worth it unless you like playing alone

The flip-side to this point of view is that having all your planets in one area limits your hunting range.

Which of course requires you to be a hunting type of person. If you're not, then by all means, cluster them puppies up. Of course, if they're all clustered up, someone else doesn't need to work as hard to find them ...
