Hey guys I'm new at this game. Been playing for a week now and its way more funner than all the MMOs I been playing. I had only two question:
1) How to I make a those avatar that everyone has?
2) How do I go up in rank? Do I build fleets, buildings, or do I win battles

#5thought I saw this in a guide, hard to find in the forums i suppose.. but here it is:
5000 resources spent = 1 point (Standard is 1000:1 instead) - the formula is:
least that's how it was last I checked, doesn't matter what resource is spent - metal, crystal, or deuterium - so consider the trade ratios.
when you first start the game it does take a while to gain points, the start is very slow. i tell all the newcomers in our alliance the same thing: 0 to 50K points is ^%$#&*, 50K to 100K is a short run, 100K to 500K comes even quicker, a million creeps up soon after, and then after that its in leaps and bounds.. as long as ya don't quit, get crashed, or make a huge mistake.
