I have a couple of questions...

1. How do you get more Rubies? Do you have to buy them or is there some way to earn them in game?

2. When I try to send a ship somewhere it gives me three options: Planet, DF, Moon. What does DF mean?

I know, Im a noob, but I really havent been able to find the answers to these questions in the FaQ or in the forums, so hopefully someone can answer them for me. Much thanks to those who answer.

1. Someone can send you some, but really you can only buy them

2. A DF is a Debris Field. They're formed when ships are destroyed around a planet; you can see some when you browse through Galaxy View.

Yeah helps a lot, thanks m8 Im wondering though, is there a way to get your ships to patrol the area near your planet and defend, or do I just assume that they are doing that automatically?

They do it automatically.

In Standard server, you can also win rubies by referring new players.
