I decided to endeavour to come back with some sort of bang, and after finding my planets were just as empty as Id left them I decided to do a little hunting. Ten minutes work showed up Life4ever had left a small (and I do mean small) segment of fleet behind a small shell, so I decided to pay a visit. Having not made a crash of any kind in a very long time, I made several mistakes, but thankfullly got away with them!
I did remember to spy and attack from a moon, and to do a safety probe. I forgot to leave a fleet slot open for the safety probe, and for recs!
Obviously I also forgot to send the recs first.
I then paniced with a miscount of how much my recs could hold, skipping a zero and instantly cranked out another 2000 into production, before realizing my error: It turned out instead of being 9k recs short, I was 19.
Nevertheless, I collected the df, looted the planet, and learned alot!
With the rust shaken off my fleet, losses replaced and sent on their maiden fleetsave, I can only hope that despite the many neardebacles of this raid that it wasnt a bad entrance back to the game after taking over leadership of AZG, and merely a nice learning curve rather than a bad omen of the future
Time will tell, and with luck, some nice victories.
