Buell of AZG probed me, saw my fleet sitting idle, and decided to attack. I had a lot of resources on the planet from some earlier raids. I was online (had just stepped away to do a little laundry), so I came back and found him inbound with about 12 minutes to spare. I thought about avoiding the mess and just side-stepping, but before he attacked, he IPM'd my defenses basically out of existence.
And you know what? I'm sick of rebuilding defenses on that planet.
So, just before moving my cargos and all the resources towards another planet, and sending the recyclers to the field-to-be, I queued up a bunch of light lasers, which take me about 2 seconds to build ...
I'm glad I didn't move; as it turns out he was biting off way more than he could chew ...
