I do not fully understand something. If i have a friend and we both log onto ZE from school using different computers and different accounts would you be able to tell that we are not using the same computer?
And a similar question, is it illegal to use the same computer for 2 different ZE acounts? If they are not on at the same time?
I would like to know asap because a friend of mine just started playing and i need to know if i should stop him from using a comp ive used at skool to log in to ZE
Re: Computer login
#2The ban would come from sharing the same IP address, so yes, you need to get your friend to drop the game at school and most definitely NEVER play two accounts on the same PC.

Re: Computer login
#3I have 3 friends who log on at college to play ZE sometimes, they have been fine so far (i'm not saying you should). I always refrain from joining them and wait until i get home, i don't like risking a ban.

Re: Computer login
#4hmm that could be a problem then...maybe ill pm the admins? not that they have any reason not to believe im not 2 people but idk. Ide like it to be so that we can play on 2 different comps at skool and not get banned...but that may not be possible..thanks for the info tho guys

Re: Computer login
#5Guys, some of the automated reporting systems are probably currently disabled while the admins work the system.
I am certain that once all of those reporting systems are enabled someone is going to be in a very bad situation.

Re: Computer login
#7For the record, it's me who wants to log in from the school computers as well. I think they're all on the same IP address, but I'm not exactly well versed in the mechanics of large networks... anyway, it seems that I'm going to have to stop using that system if we can't share it because Gamerfreak9 has seniority on me. Too bad for me, but if it stops cheating, I can't complain.

Re: Computer login
#8i have a similiar situation happening at my school if everyone stops going on at school will we still get banned when the autamated program starts up
Re: Computer login
#9Do you get banned for both playing on the same IP address, or if both accounts were started on the same IP address?
Re: Computer login
#10Well when my friends started an account at college, they both got banned and i received a warning for multi-accounting.
They went home and started again, they log on and play at college and have been ok so far so im guessing it's if you start it at the same IP. Still, it is strongly reccommended that you avoid playing on the same IP altogether.
