Skalathrax continues examining the marking to glean an indication of what it means, where the ring is from, who made it, what does it do, etc.

the marking seems to glow as you are teleported to an icy region.... you see figures hobbling around....

Skalathrax looked at the approaching figures and swore as he failed to find a mind amongst them. He twisted his right hand sharply clockwise and a fireball crackled into being. Reversing the action he flung out his arm launching the fireball at the closest zombie...

yes the fireball hit the zombie but the zombie keeps walking fowards even though it is on fire.
Gale, your sword cuts through the zombie but that one keeps walking to.

(you can only kill zombies by destroying their brains)

oh and by the way, there are 4 zombies who have noticed you.

i take one of the zombies who noticed gale on my horns and smash it to the ground being unarmed i stomp at the zombies face (hoping i can crush the skull)
