I was talking to pkromm earlier and after, I came up with this idea.I dunno some of you wont like it and thats fine ,but Im just gunna put it up.
To lets Zorg Empire Breath for while and to strive I wanna propose Leaders of top 10 alliances not to attack anyone active for 1 month.Comencing 15th January.That way peeps with a decent size fleet will have a chance to build whatever they want without being smashed.
When you sign this contract will will agree that no one from your alliance attacks any active member for a month .If anyone fails to honor this contract you will have to banish him from your aliance forever.

There is much to discuss.Maybe even Limit Total DF or Total resources one can farm and still attack.

I'm sorry to disagree with you Rukai, but I feel that if the top 10 alliances all agreed on peace contracts, the 11-15 ranked alliances would get the crap beat out of them.....

Where do I sign if I think the entire idea is ridiculous, unenforceable, unnecessary, and contrary to the point of the game?

To each his own, but I think requiring fleeters in the top ten alliances to be miners is the surest way of removing fleeters from the top ten alliances. Unless enforced game wide, this proposition is absurd. If enforced game wide, then the game becomes ludicrous.

As much as i understand where this is coming from i will also have to disagree.

All that would be done is prolonging the inevitable.People have to understand the mechanics of the game and than have the mentality to overcome.This is a strategy game and to play it without any such knowledge of that fact will for sure lead to disaster.

All the top players have had no problem giving tips on how to survive.The hard is what should make the game fun.Without it we might as well just be playing solitaire.

VVV as an alliance will not partake in this as a whole but it is up to the individual's to decide how much they will or will not ease up..as for myself i will continue to play like there is no tomorrow as it is garunteed to none of us

I have to agree with the naysayers - a proposition like this would be akin to fattening your sheep before the slaughter. Let them think you mean well, then when their guard is down go at em with a big knife.

Sure it would be good for the lousy fleetsavers - it would let them build up a fleet they shouldn't have in the first place. It wouldn't teach them a darn thing though, and would probably be cause for more whining and complaining.

When someone gets crashed in our alliance we all ask a few basic questions.... was the fleet sitting? how were you fleetsaving? why on earth did you have that much resources showing? so on... If people played as they were taught, or how they learned from the forums... there would be a whole lot less noise about whats "fair". The biggest problem is getting the ignorant masses to READ and COMPREHEND - while there are plenty of tutorials and tips on Zorg Forums there isn't a clear explanation and walkthrough written for the average joe. Too often people read one or two posts and think they're pro's. Usually these folk end up smeared across the windscreen of whatever gas guzzling behemoth gumppy drives.

If no active players were attacked for a month it would make everyone lax - they would be crushed even more spectacularly and still not understand why.

I will say this though, there's been a decrease in interest for the game - newcomers are playing because they haven't tried other games so Zorg's failings aren't as obvious to them. I have been playing for a year now and little that was promised when I first started have actually been fulfilled. The battle engine is improved but is still ridiculously one-sided. RF works (sorta) but ACS attack does not. We've been discussing adding new ships for a coon's age now and nothing has come of it.

I think if anyone is going to start a petition, do it for the good of the game not the peace of mind of the noob. I mean no disrespect but I want to see Zorg Empire put its money where its mouth is - lets see some improvements that aren't superficial. I'd sign, as would hundreds of others.

Instead of whining we should instead be making a stand - FIX the game... or else.

I do respect your attempt to try and level the playing field for a bit Rukai, but Zorg Empire's Breath is getting a little fishy... someone open a window..
