Vendetta Corporation. Wanna know more?

As you enter the massive building you still do not know quite what to expect. Who in their right mind builds a corporate headquarter that is visible from space!? A giant erect phallos thrusting it's insisting being, and that of a hole planet, into the cravasses of empty cold space as if to impregnate the darkness between the stars themselves. How can you, on behalf of your people, enter into an alliance with these .. these beings so obviously suffering the symptoms of megalomania?

She realises that he's lost in thoughts all his own, and then again first time visitors generally seem to be reflecting some exsistentiel conundrum, but having decided that time ultimately is credits she interrupts the foreign dignitary: "Greetings & welcome to the Vendetta Corporation, how may I help you sir?".You recover yourself only to find yourself face to face with a couple of grandiose delusions that are .. well .. no illusions at all and find yourself asking them to please inform CEO Galahad of your arrival. Wobbling and wabbling infront of you they seem to somehow be indicating that the CEO himself is on his way down to greet you. The receptionist, a beauti even by Galeathean standards, serves you a cup of Avalonian Erithios. The warm brew sits well with you and you seem to be both relaxed and focussed as the CEO enters the massive lobby.

"Greetings and welcome to Avalon and the corporate headquaters of the VC". The CEO, or simple Galahad as he prefers, is a quietly handsome man with a shine in his eyes that seems to indicate an intelligence to rival even your own superior intellect, plays the role of the host to a fault. Somehow you get the feeling that he finds the role to be a restricting mantle which he'd rather be without. Enroute to his office he tells you what you allready know; "The VC functions as a framework for the grap for power of several independent but aligned empires. As such the VC-members works in union to further the claims of its individual members and to settle disputes within the alliance costeffectively.".

As your enter his private offices you no longer know what to expect and find yourself taken aback by what you find. Galahad's office is no more than a study, in the original meaning of the word, and dispite it's outer grandiouse and glamerous appereance there are non of the superfluous items of power and intimidation on display that are so common in the halls of power. A simple wooden table sits in the center of the room dedicating the entire space to getting the job done, to the toils of amassing wealth in and for it's own sake. As soon as you have entered the study you sense a shift in the mood. "Let's get to the business at hand shall we.". Not a question to be sure. "You're considering joining the VC and we'll be glad to have you, so what's it gonna take?". You stand in silence facing his stare inch by inch. Sometimes the best way to learn is to be quiet. Simple let your opponent talk and by filling in the silence give away more than they intended, some piece of evidence of something below the sufface. A drive, an ingulfing purpose or maybe a simple whim. Something of the will which defines the path of the VC at which table this CEO sits. Again a shift in the mood. Did you just catch a glimmer in his eyes? What was that? A silent laugh? Did he laugh at you? Is he amused!? Eventhough you realise that millions of lives may well hang in the balance and on the outcome of this very meeting you find yourself .. well .. smiling ..

And the rest, as they say, is history and a profitable one at that.
