I just researched this. How do I know if it is working and it seemed to make research slower not faster

i believe that that is a bug, and being looked into, look under IRN in the bug/typo forum

I've got level 1 and it looks like my research times are the same on planets with a lower research lab level. So now I can do my research at the same speed on any planet with a level 1 lab. I think that's how it works anyway...maybe someone could confirm it
