what do you mean?

I mean that once the construction of the IRN is finished, the benefit is immediate as you'll have reduced research tech constructions times.

For the Labs to link, do both of the planets need an IRN? Or is it just one for all?

To prevent any confusion, the IRN is a research item and not a building.

Oh my, how I dislike the newbie period in new games

ok, i noticed it did not auto drop the time at all on researching. It is not a huge deal at this time but would like some ideas as to why. I logged out and back in reloaded the browser just incase it got stuck oh well 15 hours ill have that research done.

Yeah, I noticed that my research doesn't seem to have dropped, and if it did it was very negligible. I've got a Level 8 and a Level 10 Lab, and just finished the IRN. I figured it would at least drop an hour or so off of something, but it doesn't seem to have done anything.

Or do you need a Level 2 IRN to join two bases?

You need a level 2.
