i got 10 spaces from mine??
i got lvl 1 on my starting planet and it has 173 now so if we all started on planets with 163 then i got 10 spaces for the terraform..

In other games, a terraformer gives you 5 fields -1 for the building itself (as previously pointed out) but yes, this game gives you 10 again -1 for the building. Size planet sizes in this game are generally enormous, you should only have to build one on your main. If you colonize a new planet and it is under 200 fields you should destroy it. Yes it is a waste of time and res but it will pay off a few months to a year down the road when you begin to fill your planets. The cost to destroy a planet early is 10k Met 10k Cry and 5k Deut, whereas down the lines when you need to build Terra 3 or 4 can start running into millions (Not sure of exact cost in this game).

Hint: Slot 4/5/6 give you the best chances of a large planet. Slot 1 and 15 are smallest but the advantage of a slot 1 is that the planet has a higher temp so you get more efficiency from solar sats and slot 15 will give you less efficiency but I believe due to the fact 15 is so cold Deut production slightly increases.
