How do i make a probe of my own?

This should be under "Help," just FYI, but no matter.

There is a tab o the left of your screen entitled "Technologies." It will show every form of building, defense, ship, and research in the game, and its requirements.

If it's red, you need it; if it's green, you have it.

Research Espionage Technology to level 2 and then you will be able to build Espionage Probes from your shipyard. For more information on other technology requirements you can view the Technologies list in game by clicking the button in the Empire Menu.
