Well my situation right now is complicated but needless to say I have left my alliance and I am looking to join another alliance. I am wondering which alliances are recruiting at this time. I will not join the first offer I get. I simply wish to know who is looking for members so I have my self a list to choose from and to give myself an idea of which alliances may be right for me.

Ahh if only there was some form of a thread where every recruiting alliance could post a topic about it. And, oh wait there's more it could be called-are you ready for this- the union of honor, yeah how about that.

Yes I am well aware but there are many alliances that don't have recruiting threads and such as well as those who neglect their recruitment threads.

Yes, but would you really want to be a part of an alliance that is to inactive to make a recruitment topic?

Yeah I agree but some of the larger more standout alliances such as Azgard and Dacia don't have their own topic. (Unless they have been buried in time) But also I'd rather not sift through page after page of the small alliances that post their policies with things that would only really bring starting players into the fold and I'd rather not get into an alliance that says these great things or seemingly great things that they will do and then just have this group of guys that do nothing at all.

There are some players who don't use the forums. Mostly the non-english speaking players. Others just visit the forums to see what is going on but they don't participate in any discussions. They usually keep to themselves and only interact in-game. If you want an active alliance in the forums, the alliance of these people are most likely not for you.

They are at a little disadvantage because their interactions are limited but I think that doesn't make them inferior to others.
Sometimes I even think that they are at advantage since they usually are a very close knit group.

I thought about creating a topic with a list of alliances listed in the forums and their current status, but I'm seeing a short list. And most of them are just obsolete.

Alright while I'm almost settled into a decision at this time. I am considering turning this into a list of actively recruiting alliances. If you want your Alliance to get put on the list just send a Pm or post here and if enough come through I'll start compiling a list. This will only happen if enough alliances request it.
