Thanks again for everybody that helped crack the turtle shell. I also appreciate the kind words. I can do without some of the pettiness though.

I did want to clear up some misconceptions.

I was kind of busy today with RL stuff, but had a minute and figured I would check in on Kassler. So, I scanned him...unfortunately, I did not even check the results until a little while later.

This was actually the first time I had seen his fleet docked since his turtle shell was cracked. However, my response was slow as I didn't really expect him to be there and didn't even check the results of the scan until a little while later. I was also busy with some other stuff.

I went ahead and launched the recs.

A little while later, I scanned him again to make sure the fleet was there before I launched my fleet.

It was still there, so I launched my fleet. I actually expected him to move the fleet.

I was chatting with an alliance member at the time it hit and was a little surprised I got it. But I did.

At about 06-02 17:48:14 - I sent a circular msg asking for Rec support as the DF was pretty big.

At 06-02 18:31:37, I got a PM from Slash about and a few minutes later I got one from Ista.

I had already hit the fleet, but there was a good chunk of Debris still lying out there so I did not respond. The two PMs confused me a little bit at first, as I thought they had seen the DF and were checking it out. I later figured out that they must have scanned it and not checked back on it.

Either way, I do appreciate the sentiment.

I hope this clears everything up.

so i... being the enemy ...gave you a possible target that about 99.9% of communnity could do without..you would consider it a trap...or consider it on a case by case basis as to how/who you got the info from?...just wondering with a fleet of your size who you feel could trap ya??..or is this where we try to down play it that you have a tiny fleet? if so its your story and i'll back ya up on it!

For a large debris field, multiple trips are sometimes required. This is a request that alliance members/friends send any recyclers in the area to pick up the debris before someone else is able to steal it.

and then they give it to you?
Yep. Pretty standard practice, particularly among alliances that do more raiding and fleeting.
