Well, I fleetsave quite often. When ACS attack is enabled, that will become always.

You probably don't know this, but Mintaka did attack me a while back and took out a large chunk of my fleet. I actually learned alot about the game from the way he pursued me and the way he took down that part of my fleet. I was a bit cocky, but had evaded all my pursuers up to that point. It was that experience that taught me the power of the Phalanx scan and the way of a master hunter.

Two other large influences on me were Neoshgrath and Sadbutrue. Early in the game Neo was pursuing Sad very vigorously. Neo had setup a staging planet sometimes called a floating colony. Watching the interaction of those two and how Sad evaded the attack while hitting other targets taught me a great deal.

The fusion of those experiences as well as some other things I picked up along the way are a big part of the reason I have been so effective. I had a chance to see some of the best in action.

If Mintaka was willing to exert the effort to pursue me, it is likely he would catch me one way or another. Many of the top players were already familiar with him when they joined Zorg. He has been at the top of the mountain in Zorg for a long time. However, I would be willing to bet that the amount of energy required to get my fleet would mean less time to acquire a number of "softer" targets. I have many moons in areas he does not. Still, his reputation is well deserved and if he endeavored to pursue me vigorously, I would be forced to become much more cautious.

Remember this as well.... Most of the Top 10 players have gotten their by being hard targets to acquire. I believe I am one of them. Hopefully, I will not have to find out anytime soon.

There is a sleeping giant called Mintaka that would make the Kraken weep and return home.

Squirrel on Crack is another still more skilled than me in the Art of the Hunt. I have probably just been more active in Head Hunting.

Sadbutrue is another. Like Galactus, when his fleet lands he drains all the neighboring planets in a 20 sector radius of fleet, defense and res. If you see one of his floating planets in your galaxy, it may be time to find another home.

Lord of War and Istalris both have had top 10 hits and can crack the top 10 again at any time.

Also, Flyfoot [~V~) and Nemesis [RAWK] are rising stars in the fleeting game. They will both soon have a spot or two of their own.
that is so true about sad<but where is mintaka? And the templar havent seen him in a while

I guess the shadow of the Templar returns from whatever infernal region he disappeared to.

I 'm just taking a break. I have some unfinished business to take care of, then I 'll return for good.
Curtis will have to wait for quite some time.

Not if you have an overactive imagination.

Ah, I also want to say something else before I disappear again:
Khan, you ROCK.
Destroy it and in three days I will rebuild it
