Expeditions will also award Rubies

Notable Rules:

-PROTECTION: As long as you have up to 25k points, only players within 5 times your points can attack you.
-No Bashing Rule
-Stats update include fleets at air
-Fleet Crashing "ON RETIREMENT" is NOT allowed
-Deletion of accounts is possible
-Switching accounts is not allowed

Specials:

-Moon Probability up to 25%!
-Defenses Regeneration 90% (no random) with possibility to research this up to always 100%
-Colonization Tech is required before colonization of new planets (As in Generals viewtopic.php?f=57&t=11201)

Plus Moons are cheaper and smaller (5000 to 8000 diameter)
Removed Imperial Support
New option: Imperial Bonds

Imperial Bonds
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Imperial Bonds are very different to Imperial Support and also a little different than the War Bonds used in Generals. Their purpose is to provide a way for those who join up late or get crashed, to have a chance to recover fast. They are also meant to be used in emergencies by all players.

Up to 9 Military Bases (planets with no mines) - We need to see how this universe evolves before implementing this

It's already quite easy to build up shells that are almost impossible to get through with a fraction of the resources it would take to fleet through them. Increasing defense generation so substantially just heightens this problem, and makes it even easier to do so.

I disagree

If it was this easy, a large % of players would have shells. This is not the case. If you look at all Universe, there are only a couple of shells at each universe and only in Standard you can spot a really large shell.

Even in Generals,where we used higher regeneration rates than those in current universes, no one seemed to bother and I do not remember any Defense general making an impact.

Finally, this has been announced before in the design plan. This topic is the Release Notes. If you want to suggest anything on the design, use the Design Plan topic. Use this topic for reference or asking anything you feel that needs to be explained in detail or ironed out. It will help to keep things clean and organized at the forums.

I thought the new universe was supposed to be faster than all other universes? This shows the same speed as Speed except for the Res Gen is at 4x and Speed is at 3X. Why not bump it up to 9X or 10X?
