Pulsars idea is a great one indeed.

However, in a realistic sense the distance a missile can travel is by the amount of fuel you can cram into it. Sure Impulse Engine upgrades can make it a more efficient burn resulting in a longer travel, but I feel like it should not increase the distance as much as a Missile Silo. A higher level Missile Silo means that you can build bigger rockets meaning more fuel it can hold.

So to go along with her idea I would like to suggest that every Impulse Engine upgrade increases the range by a smaller number than a Missile Silo upgrade.

By posting you are keeping the topic in the limelight, this is good. You are correct, 11 who have voted, it's a sad indictment of some players. It would be interesting to know who had voted although I understand why we won't see this.

The players that complain about the game dying, I wonder if they have all voted? I would wager that this is not the case. The ones that are the first to complain will be the ones that don't get involved.

If you think about it, it makes perfect sense.

They are the player that has possibly lost stuff, it's their report. It's up to an attacker to see before and after if that's the way they want to play.

They are there to see the damage. You are not.

You would have to go and have a look at the damage you have caused, aerial imagery etc. So, in game, you send probes.

I launch about the most IPMs in game last I looked. how it is...is fine. Most launch IPMs just to launch IPMs...good for them...but there is another reason for IPMs to be there in simulator....figure that out your self. also has other tactical uses. Leave as is. If im out of range..I move in a roamer and build up nanite for fast IPM build if I need to use them. Just as with fleet if out of range we use roamers. the range and everything is good as it was...so why change it?

I am a hybrid player and I understand every aspect of the game...why to use it while others dont. I hate to see people who dont know have an opinion. This game is not one dimensional with multiple ways to do it. many changes made due to ignorance has only cost the game playerbase....so STFU if you dont understand the game entirely :wall:

whatever happens.....decide to change it....whatever....I prefer roamers anyway on the very edge of my range and have 1000 IPMs in the air before one even hits. This is a dumb topic when there is much better things to improve. Want to impress me......IPMs can hit fleet sitting for DF:) otherwise this is just a dumb dumb dumb topic about something that dont really make a difference. If you want to debate whats possible real life....hmmm real life a fleet in orbit unattended can be hit by missiles:) everyone even rank 1 would have to fleetsave......thats gamechanger....this topic dumb dumb dumb.

Think about that....you wont see a fleet on update even rank 1 in any server. instead of being able to do nothing.....IPMs could be the simple game changer to make and keep all fleets honest flying and if left unattended...... Playerbase has power to reduce power:) the counter is already there...everyone I mean everyone fleet saves even rank 1. that alone changes this genre and game from being like the rest.....that 1 fleet sitting all the time crashing everyone. well if he had to fleet save like us all...would he/she still get that crash?

maybe that 1 fleet may not have crashed you if was in fleet save...be more fleets around already:) its really simple....use the acronym KISS

So InterPLANETARY Missiles, look at the name, P L A N E T A R Y shooting at things on the P L A N E T, okay.

What you are suggesting, I think, is some sort of SAM system or even in this game SSM.

Well that would be another suggestion, not this suggestion.

was no name calling....simply a dumb topic that in end makes no difference. Sometime brutal honesty is enough...I did make input for a better use....so wasnt just name calling or acronyms. What about IPMs able to hit fleet left unattended? thats game changer.....and good for playerbase
