Let me explain in detail:
If an account is switched, as the rules specify account switching, then a mark is placed on the account (visible to all). Such an account is not allowed a retirement hit.
I explained above why (buyer especially) this rule should be also followed when a sale is conducted. Not everyone do this and unfortunately we cannot know all trades.
Therefore I explained that we have a method to resolve in a way that applies to all cases, not only to the ones that we get to discover.
So what we say? We say that account trading is not something that we concern ourselves. You do it, you take your risks, whatever. It is your private deal what you will do with your account. As far as we are concerned, we got about 10 rules in-game. Do you see any rule about Account trading there? Do you even see a rule about retirement crashes?
Yet some of you keep asking for clarification. Clarify this, clarify that. Do this, do that. You are trying to play a game and you want someone behind the scenes to check everything.
NEWSFLASH! WE CANNOT CHECK EVERYTHING!
If player A receives $200 tomorrow to crash his fleet to Player B and both decide to conceal it, NO ONE will ever know. And everyone will say, A FAIR RETIREMENT HIT.
What administration can possibly do at this case? How can we detect this case? We cannot. So, if we cannot detect it, we cannot have special ruling for the ones we manage to detect that will be by default very few. It is pure hypocrisy.
So what we say? We say that we enforce only what we can control. Account trading is not one of these things. So we never have really issued any bans that involved account trading as part of the ban reason.
Now, if such a case involved/involves further violations, (ie multiplay or account hacking) then a ban/penalty has been issued/will be issued.
