About the unwritten rule about posting, I personally think that combat reports should no be posted unless both parties give their consent.

Wow. I have to say from the time I started playing I always found the combat reports to be the most interesting thing in the forums. It was the reason I checked the forums every day and I still get excited when i see a big hit on a top player.

I do agree that the specifics of the combat should not be exposed.

I can't tell you how many in game PMs I have gotten from people about the failed Belligerant hit.

It didn't go the way I planned, but it was big news. People were definitely interested.

I think it would be a mistake to curtail them in any way.

all i have to add is great attitude from the hit...more than once in the last 3 weeks i have gotten the...your so much stronger i'm only ranked 180th and you are gonna drive me to quit the game.Sorry to say if that's how you are gonna act now,than really isn't any point going forward cause this is not a game for carebears. 5 weeks ago my point total was ZERO, so arrogant or not next PM about quitting is gonna have a response of ''want some cheese with that?''

yeah the attitude china displayed here is the only good thing about the thread.

I do agree that he has a great attitude, I mean look at the war that ~V~ just had because of a few measly raids. I was insulted for probing! Players like China are a rare breed and its great to see some can-do attitude from such a small player. I can also see how my original post could be miss-interpreted but there was nothing cynical meant by it.

I think the general etiquette when it come to posting a CR in a game like this is:

1. Any hit that constitues a 20% moonshot (or Hall of Fame) is worthy of posting, some of the higher ups stick to posting only advanced Hall of Fames (hits that create 100M or more TD).
2. Usually, the unspoken rule declares that the defender is allowed to post up the CR on the boards if the attacker hasn't done so after 24 hours.

Neo, i think if people had to agree on posting hits up in the forums, the Union of Honor would die. I doubt anyone i've hit would consent, nor would most others. I agree on the blocking out sensitive information, that's why i posted up the guidance for posting CR's sticky. If more people read it before posting we'd be fine.

Sorry for posting this if you think this is spam for the Union of Honor fourm.
Maybe there should be a combat fourm for lower players where they can brag about their biggest hits and a fourm for the combat with 100M and up debris. Anybody with me?

nah china if you just fleet save and grow fast you will have good hits. overall i think many people dont post their hits so they dont get attention.
