So for as long as I can remember there has always been a flood of players(?) that join the game and never build anything and instantly go vacation mode or inactive. I assume this is zorg's doing to try and "stimulate" the community or make it look more active than it is. If this is the case could it be stopped?

Zorg has said before, I quote directly,

"-THERE ARE NO GENERATED PLAYERS We NEVER artificially generated ANY player. ALL THESE players in X-TREME (and other universes) are REAL signups."

So, although I agree with you guys, even ALDUIN! about the names with spaces etc, it has already been denied previously. We have to take the word of Zorg on that I'm afraid.

They come from fb if u play any of their turn based games to get exra turns there are links to sign up to other games one link is this game

But for the amount of people that come to this game and don't build a single thing. I mean upgrading 1 building to level one produces 1 point...so there has to be someone or something generating these accounts.
Perhaps we can add a more secure bot protection system to the signup page?

There does seem to be an awful lot of John.smith or james.jones. Real names separated by that dot. I have "dabbled" in other servers but not permanently due to connection issues. I have seen these weird names first hand. The only server I have never seen ANY in is Standard. So, an abundance of these "Phantom" players in some servers, then absolutely none in another. Seems a little iffy.
