Cleaning up users in all flavors inactive/vmoded/banned

Zorg did change the way the game works by putting long term inactives in vmodus, this has already has happened in the extreme. The game did not improve by this decision.
People who left the account probabably did this willingly to aid the community.

My suggestion is:
After (45 days - vmode free period) without logging in, charge 1 ruby per week for being inactive.
Delete account with a negative ruby saldo.

In this way an account without rubies will automatically disappear wether it is in vmodus
or inactive or banned it makes no difference.

Leading to a healthy cleaning up of accounts over time.
An account with 50 rubies would last around 2 years and after it will disappear in the normal clean up cycle.

I think this is an excellent suggestion, Thor. This would still keep some more developed inactives around, so there would still be space in the game for raiders (who are a vital part of the Zorg ecosystem). I know many raiders have stopped playing in X because of the recent changes, and I believe something like this has strong potential to bring them back...

If people truly have concerns about inactives being gifted rubies and kept around forever, I'm sure Zorg could prevent the gifting of rubies to inactive players.

I really hope Zorg considers this option; I believe it makes a lot of sense and would help engage and bring back many players, especially if it were applied to the recently v-moded inactivates.

let's see if I understand correctly;

- first 45 days are free for Vmoding/inactivity for anyone, same as it is today for any account
- after one account has been in V (or inactive) for 45 days, Zorg starts charging 1 ruby a week for inactivity
- a "free" account starts with 10 rubies by default, so total duration for such account is max 45 + 70 = 115 days, about 4 months
- any account to have 50 rubies for any reason, is then present for a year and a month or there-about

I think this is both a sound idea and reasonable business model!

I left another game , cause V moding cost rediculously huge amounts of ingame credits there, so I like the first free period!
I do agree on "refreshing" the actual accounts present on a server ...why?
An account being in V or inactive for more than a year (yet beneficial to others), is in all reasonable assumption, not likely to return and therefor candidate for deletion
