I also have another idea...
What is you could increase your gravitation technology so much that it will give you a boost in a defense?
Like think you bring your gravitation tech up to say level like 7 that would take a lot of time and resources,
So say it gets rid of probes without getting a full probe report? Even just that would be interesting.
Could you imagine seeing a fleet down with a ton of res but not seeing the fleet? Imagine the fear or a blind launch.
Or say it smashes small raiding fleets like 1 elite cargo attack you moon.

This will this this raid thing I am thinking.
What if you add an attack option that attacks with 1 Ec instantly.
Like instead of going through the options of attacking and acs defending and how fast you want and all hat jazz.
Just launch it instantly

i just come by to see how zorg is going and notice this forum post
first i will little critize zorg about some changes you made that come to this

let start
first one you hurry with new servers too much
when was only extreme it was epic battle ,hide and seek,moon destruction,allaince war
but you started adding one after other new server and less people started playing and after some time it get bored because it was same thing.

second one was yours mistake that you deleted all inactives as excuse that poeple should more go to hunting somone else fleet
and become more active doing that
after that little ones left out food big ones bullied them
if you stayed that neactive players stay people maybe played more and farmed
after that 90% on all servers players become blue

Third one you just too much focused on money i know it needs money to run servers but
you dint listed too yours players ho played yours game
i will ask this how long it take to add single ship in extreme elite recycler which was waited for very long time
in zorg forums there is milions good ideas just take time and read it

Fourth one is new contain keeps players
reward also
however you dint added nothing special for months

Fifth one is unbalanced ships,defenses,teachs
even weak cant destroy at least one ship to big guy

now to some post here that some people posted

i only see that big guys ho play this game for very long time wanan bully more weak ones
never add or think to change show fleet always because people wanna that enemy dont know how big fleet is
because of that hide and seek is on always
if you add that people will more leave

next one is that you add space quest ,rewards for being active everyday,new ship if you buy ruby
Ruby extractor ship for moons send him to moon for chanse to get rubys
adding races to game will make people make factions aliens vs humans and so on could keep players playing for hours
each race different ships ,tech,buildings,
reward big guys for not bully little ones too much

my advice is only zorg spend more for now on one server to make him active again then move to next one

i named it random
first
we have now alliances and if somone ally we write on front page right
as i posted above you can use that or this
allow each alliance or alliance member to create own ship
by creating some script which we go to yours site and make random ship
we choise
parts
weapons
damage
type of ship transport or warship
choise color
price
capacity
speed
or you can make people simple write own idea for ships on forums

allowing that you will add ability that each alliance become different then others
also adding
option that alliance join to others alliance
to create big allaince that can share resurses ,trade,or hmm i have idea if you like it implant
to let these allaince fight for spot in space
let say adding galaxy 10 inextreme or any server you have
regualr allaince cant access them you need to have big allaince of allaince to access them

option that each allaince need to donate some resurses to create let say super planets on which the can build they special ships
,defenses ,buildings for trading to others big alliances

protect there planets by sending ships to that planet
if not protected destroy planet and you need to start over
also enable that Deadstar can pop them which could make intense

also add option that you need to defend some planets for some time by random timer
reward should be random

also exporation yours game make ships destroy for that and get nothing worth
make it worth
however add negative impact for that player if pickup wrong resurses
better then destroyed ships
example
negative
show ships on ranking for 24 h lifted or not
slow ships for 24 h
resurses not gow up on planets
provoke enemy empire random attack on some of yours planet
depends od yours stars
yup add star rating for this
1 star less ship
5 star heavy fleet
random on one of yours planet
attack last for 24 h
random decisions on planets
each star improves if you pick negative let name it negative ruby
less cargo ship capacity on all ships for 24 h
and so on

here some positive
increase resurses production on all planets for 2,4,8,16,32,50%
energy roduction on all planets for 2,4,8,16,32,50%
Ruby 1,3,5
dont tell me that you dont need this because you lose money
you need this to keep people interested in tech
random ship 1,3,5
random tech 1,3,5 level
and so on lot sideas you can add here

next one is for ruby
you need money right here you can help you get it
daily reward
add resurses bonus
add 1 random ship
add option that reduce price of ruby by 25%,50%70%
for 3 days
why this its simpe because some poeple dont have too much money
by leting price go down even more
people could buy ruby with real money
imagine buying 35 Zorg Rubies for 0.50 or 100 Zorg Rubies for 1 euro


thats all folks
you have power Zorg to make active game this
but you need to listen more and read forum post people sugest some cool ideas here
also enable that forum new thinfs shows next search button or up there

one more thing

wow...., some great ideas....
some very difficult to implement...
But overall good thinking...
I still think just deleting inactives has made me lose interest... for now...
Not cause I raid...,
But because other smaller players raid..., that now have stopped growing...
so day after day I see their fleets.., but its not worth the effort hitting them...
where as before it was...
so by deleting these last few bigger inactives.., you guys slowed the game down more...
I keep logging...., waiting for a few updates..., then sending fleet away again...
soon I will be blue too...
out of boredom....

also forget to add...,
some of the bigger raiders...,
they always on line..., raiding.., not to attack ..,
but they friends to chat to..,
so when changes happened..,
a lot of them left xtreme too.. or at least vmoded
Making it more quiet..
I take chat in our alliance...
used to be 7 or 8 pages every day when I logged..
now I see last 3 days on 2 pages....

Gotta agree with you there, evil. I still think v-moding the only inactives with big mines on the server was not a very smart move for the game for the same reasons you do... And now those with big mines are even farther ahead than they were before. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Zorg has any interest whatsoever in reversing it's decision. Seems like a bunch of people have already started playing other games... So... Like you, I'm not sure where things will go from here... We'll see...

I hope some of the ideas for player retention expressed here and elsewhere that have near universal support can be implemented, at the very least...
