have to take my hat off to evilbass, not only has he taken this hit well, he accepts the game for what it is...

However the long term spam artist strikes again... You are either just posting crap for the sake of it spy or you have just shown yourself up... As anyone who know how to play this game does... When any player launches on another (this excludes Phalanx hits) after finding a fleet down...the defender is one of two options on or off....if off line (then the reason it totally irrelevant)...the result is what we all try for...

2nd they are online and will (if time permits ) try and arrange a ninja. or simple lift their fleet ...resulting in no hit to post anyway...

If you know a player is online ...there is a 97% chance they will just move their fleet...wasting your deut... Now I say 97% because I have on very few occasions been very lucky and hit a player who was on line but stepped away from their screen...One went to make a coffee...and posted as much on the CR....another went to the dunny... these are exceptions and I also know there have been players sucked into a conversation and hit while talking (exchanging pm's)

To sum up we all rely on our opponent to be off line or the attacks just don't happen... No doubt there will be some further justifications from our village Id...sorry our friendly spam artist...

Once again Glotr evilbass...

sighs for the sake of your ego this wasnt towards discrediting your effort.

read back my post i did say that there should be a seperate thread or mechanism for posting those events where a miss was managed or something else was done by the defender. thats a feat of action worth getting kuddos over.

you guys are all just thinking one dimensional here. the lack of imagination is tiring.

I did not even bother replying to SPY's post as it wasn't worth reading.

When a player launches he indeed does so because he hopes that the target player is not online. Why would you launch at a players fleet if you knew they were online? lol!!!!

What a nonsensical statement to make, hahahahaha! I hope he read that back and thought to himself, "What a numpty I am", lol.

So, to reiterate, yet again.

The facts are, Gozar launched, hit, won! Good hit.

EvilBass, regardless of the unfortunate technology breakdown, got hit. All praise to you EvilBass for being so gracious. I fear I would still be having kittens if I was in your position. I wish there was more like you in the game.

SPY, stop trying to diminish the excellent attitude of both players. Perhaps take a leaf out of EvilBass's book, give credit where credit is due? Unfortunately, probably not. Awaiting the next (as always) negative comment!! lol!!
