I'm not terribly concerned about the fleet, or the defences or shields or any of that. I play for fun, and not really for war.

That's why I invited your alliance to join a non-aggression pact with mine... remember? That NAP request I sent out just a tender few moments before I was attacked.

And imagine my disbelief when I noticed that those who attacked me were the very ones I was inviting peace with.

I expect to get attacked, and to lose stuff... such is the risk (and fun) of multi-player games. I just wasn't expecting it from someone I invited peace with. I did not expect an attack during negotiations of an NAP...

"We'll just consider it for a bit..."
Boom! (Attack...)
"But we're still considering it..."

No hard feelings though. Time to shake hands and get over it. I'll still consider that NAP if you're willing to grant it (preferably with limited further attacks) -- we're always looking for friends.
