Despite being blocked by a few players I find it daft that they can still message me. Maybe they forgot they blocked me.....maybe they do it on purpose, who knows.....

So can we change how blocked messages work please...

Either...

1: If you block a person then you cannot send that person a message

Or...

2: Automate a warning that the person you are messaging is alreeady blocked

Nothing more annoying than someone who blocks you but still sends messages asking for help, info etc and I can't reply.....

I don't think that there is that option in Standard. But, if they have blocked you, block them back? Why would you want to talk to such petty individuals anyway?

I don't tend to block people unless they are complete morons who send foul abuse......as an alliance leader I get lots of messages so would be pointless (for example declaring war.....how can I notify a leader if I am blocked lol....and he tells his minions to follow his lead?) That's why I started the post so the options listed could help ..... but I do see your point

Declaring war need only be done here. If they don't read the forums they will miss it. Makes it all the more satisfying when you hit the same world for a sixth time and they start moaning about being bashed! lol. But yes, I see your point. I suppose the point is, they block your messages, the onus is on them. If they don't want to know, that is their problem?

I would support not being able to message people you have blocked.
Should just throw an error such as: "Why are you trying to message this person? YOU blocked them."
Also Oz is right, the blocklist doesn't function in standard, I once looked around a bit but was unable to find the option to add someone to the blocklist (we can 'manage' it via the friends popup but i presume that only allows removing as it just tells me that my blocklist is empty), so out of curiosity does the game not let you message someone who has blocked you (error) or they just don't get the message? (silent)
