Definitely agree with tutorials. Perhaps a lot more rubies at the start so things can be speeded up... As DREDD says, when you start you spend all your res and then can't really do anything for quite a while and I am sure that many never return (I nearly didn't).
The idea of an instant starter fleet is nice too. I know we can't mention other games by name, but some allow ruby-type purchases of a few ships, and others have a 'lottery' system where you can spend a ruby for a chance of ships or res, a bit like the rewards for expeditions. Talking of which - as I have said before, a really big plus on development would be better, more worthwhile expeditions...........

Your ban was lifted because you agreed to behave. Yet in less than a month you are back Mod/Admin baiting. You have brought this apon yourself.

#14Lol interesting signature, Dredd.
Regard your soldiers as your children, and they will follow you into the deepest valleys; look on them as your own beloved sons, and they will stand by you even unto death.

#15Why oh why do players do this ? please 99% of you know the rules..You have some good ideas..so why then do you try and bait Admin and Moderators.. even more so when you have only just returned from a ban..
Post your ideas...get the player base active, talk, discuss..generate game play...BUT KEEP off the personal digs..You are the one that then suffers.. Ask yourself for what gain do these unnecessary comments get you.
Back onto subject...Yes it appears that there are a number of accounts that spring up and straight away go inactive.. I am unsure if they are in fact computer server generated accounts just to help make inactives for raid purposes to help newer players...However if you know that they are poor farms...why probe them.. leave them alone and look elsewhere.. this will only allow the n00b to farm better and develop quicker..
I do think the idea of a early boost in game is good..yet to just give the account rubies could led to an account being created just to pass the rubies onto someone else for free... what would be a better idea is a New player could be given/start account with all ruby boost active for say the 1st month.. this being at least 4 times longer that the rubies currently can provide.
An added extra could be the base lvl to start with could be enabled so new players can build cargo's and colony ships to develop from the start. just a few ideas..
