If you listen and think about what he says instead of tapping your knee with a hammer, his position is not as inhuman as it seems at first flush. Not saying I agree, but basicly he is saying that it is hard to deal sensibly with a resource if it does not have a specific value attached to it; we put a monetary value on food, why not not water?

Were you really disappointed? Funny how so many prejudiced comments start with "I'm not X" before making it clear that they are in fact X. First, I am skeptical about the claim that he is Jewish because 1. he is Austrian and there aint many Jews in Austria and 2. the only references I could find online to his being Jewish were on a couple of virulently anti-semitic sites. Secondly and much more importantly, what the **** does it matter? Is his position on water a result of his religion? Unlikely. If you want to start throwing around religious slurs, it would be very easy for me to make a long list of people who have done abominable acts directly as a result of their religious beliefs, whether Jewish, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, or Muslim.
