#2It only takes one ship.
It depends how many and type. If there is no defenses, just send some cargos. Add stronger ships depending on the strength of the defenses, but you could get ninjad by a player.
Pulling a ninja is doing nothing and waiting for an attack then at the last second, have your fleet appear and destroy his fleet.

#3Of all the pointless questions this is one of the worst. There is no definate answer to this, the amount and type of ships you send depend completely on what the player has on the planet/moon you want to attack.

#4Try sending trice of what he has. If he has 2 BS, send 6 BS. Think of the RL, and LL as light fighters. GC as BS. PC as D.
You can then increase or decrease the number of ships you will want to send next depending on the results.
Experience is the best teacher IMO.
